Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to provide high-quality perioperative care in a busy trauma unit. The candidate will be responsible for supporting a wide range of surgical procedures in a Level 2 Trauma Center, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition prior to surgery and prepare them for procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth and efficient operative workflows.
• Administer medications and anesthesia as directed, monitoring patient responses.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Document all perioperative activities accurately in the electronic health record.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and provide critical support during high-acuity cases.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience in a Level 2 Trauma or equivalent setting.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records.
• Demonstrated ability to handle trauma, neuro, ortho, gen/trauma, vascular, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, eye, and robotics cases.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high acuity procedures.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
