Job Summary:
Provide specialized care to patients in the PCU/IMC/Stepdown unit, focusing on monitoring and supporting patients' recovery and stability. Ensure high-quality patient outcomes through comprehensive assessment and intervention.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and perform clinical assessments regularly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions in EPIC electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies, including rapid response protocols.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and maintain infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH.
• At least 1 year of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• First-timers are accepted with required credentials.
