Job Summary:
The Emergency Room RN provides critical nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. This role requires a strong understanding of emergency protocols, clinical procedures, and patient advocacy to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients quickly and accurately to determine severity of condition.
• Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertion, Foley catheter placement, wound dressings, and use of telemonitoring equipment.
• Administer medications safely, adhering to best practices and regulatory guidelines.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions, escalating care as necessary.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses thoroughly and promptly.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN licensure with verification uploaded via Nursys within the last 2 weeks.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from AHA or ARC, with valid expiration dates.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience.
• Strong knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and regulatory standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-acuity environment.
