Job Summary:
The Staff Nurse in the Emergency Room provides critical, direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. They assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to meet patients' physical, psychological, safety, rehabilitative, and educational needs, collaborating with healthcare team members.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver immediate and ongoing assessment of emergency patients to determine care priorities.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and clinical protocols.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established guidelines.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of ancillary staff to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly in accordance with hospital policies.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families to provide updates and ensure understanding of treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in acute trauma and emergency interventions.
• Strong ability to work in high-pressure situations and prioritize care needs.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
