Job Summary:
The Med/Surg Tele RN provides high-quality nursing care to adult patients with various medical conditions, ensuring safety and promoting recovery. This role involves monitoring patient status, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and identify necessary interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Recognize and respond to ECG rhythms and patient emergencies.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and update care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, certifications, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or Compact state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Possess at least 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg/Tele experience, preferably within one location or combined across facilities.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Successfully pass electrocardiogram and medication safety tests during orientation.
• Submit two recent manager references from the last 12 months.
