Job Summary:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient services across age groups.

Responsibilities:

• Administer direct patient care following established nursing protocols and scope of practice.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with health aides to ensure rooms are stocked and check-lists are completed.
• Assist with ordering medical supplies and maintaining clinical equipment.
• Screen calls and provide patient education or escalate as necessary.
• Support mid-level providers during after-hours clinic operations when needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited LNL or LVN school and licensed as an LPN in Alaska.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification and active Alaska LPN license in good standing.
• New graduates accepted; prior hospital experience preferred.
• Possess IV certification (preferred) and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care procedures, including psychiatric patient considerations.
