Job Summary:
Responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit. Ensures patient safety, monitors vital signs, and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions upon admission and throughout their stay.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs continuously to detect any abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient responses and care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license valid in the state.
• Proven experience in telemetry nursing or similar cardiac care.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and electrocardiogram interpretation.
• Ability to float to other units or campuses as needed.
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
