Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform diagnostic testing in a busy hospital laboratory. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze a variety of complex clinical samples using Sysmex and CellaVision systems.
• Accurately perform differential counts, including challenging specimens such as turbid samples and platelet clumps.
• Maintain quality and accuracy in laboratory results, adhering to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with neonatal and other specialty units to ensure precise diagnostics.
• Follow established protocols for specimen handling, processing, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Document all laboratory procedures and results meticulously.

Qualifications:

• Valid Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Technician certification.
• Prior experience working in a large hospital laboratory with high specimen volume.
• Proficiency in using Sysmex and CellaVision hematology systems.
• Ability to handle complex and abnormal samples promptly and accurately.
• Strong understanding of neonatal laboratory procedures is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to adapt quickly to busy clinical environments.
