Job Summary:
Provides rehabilitative and skilled physical therapy interventions to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Ensures treatment plans are implemented effectively and documentation complies with clinical and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive devices.
• Assess patient progress and communicate treatment adjustments to supervising Physical Therapist.
• Document all clinical interventions, patient responses, and treatment minutes in electronic health records accurately and in compliance with regulations.
• Provide education, consultation, and emotional support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders and treatments.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and company trainings to support continuous professional development.
• Support the supervision of students under the guidance of the Physical Therapist and assist in obtaining necessary DME and supplies.

Qualifications:

• Active State PTA license required.
• At least 1 year of recent PTA experience, with LTC or SNF setting preferred.
• Proven ability to perform rehabilitative therapies and document clinical activities accurately.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with healthcare team members and patients.
• Ability to work effectively under supervision in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• New graduates with Level II clinical experience are acceptable.
