Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to provide clinical support and ensure smooth patient care operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture, electronic health record systems, and maintain compliance with certification requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and other clinical procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Administer vaccinations, medications, and assist with patient examinations.
• Maintain and update electronic health records using the Epic system.
• Ensure compliance with all certification and licensure standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate patient flow and care delivery.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program.
• Hold current BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Possess at least 1 year of relevant medical assisting experience.
• Be CPR certified and capable of performing venipuncture.
• Have a valid California Medical Assistant certification.
• Be flexible with floating to different clinical locations if required.
