Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy and gastrointestinal procedures. Collaborate with medical teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes throughout diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health conditions and gather relevant medical histories prior to procedures.
• Administer medications and sedation as prescribed, monitoring patient responses closely.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy and GI procedures, ensuring proper equipment usage.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery post-procedure, providing appropriate interventions as needed.
• Educate patients on procedure preparations, post-procedure care, and relevant health information.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Experience in gastroenterology, endoscopy, or related specialties preferred.
• Strong understanding of GI procedures, patient monitoring, and sedation protocols.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure healthcare settings.
