Job Summary:
The Endoscopy RN will provide specialized nursing care in the endoscopy and GI department, supporting procedural procedures, patient preparation, and post-procedure care. This position requires adherence to clinical standards and OSHA regulations to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and prepare patients for endoscopic procedures.
• Assist physicians during endoscopy and GI procedures, ensuring equipment functionality and safety protocols.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, responses, and recovery progress post-procedure.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, OSHA standards, and facility policies.
• Educate patients regarding pre- and post-procedure care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio RN license or a compact state RN license.
• Possess minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in endoscopy or GI nursing.
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Successfully pass facility-required assessments with acceptable scores.
