Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, monitoring patient conditions and implementing appropriate interventions. Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and respond to critically ill patients.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to shift schedules.
• Compliance with travel and licensing requirements.
