Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients in IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units, focusing on post-surgical, medical, and stepdown patients. Float pool staff may be assigned to various hospital departments, including the Emergency Department, ensuring flexible and comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer assigned medications and treatments following physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions, including vital signs and response to treatments, and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Adapt to different units within the hospital, including ER and inpatient units, as required.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate concerns to appropriate medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards during all patient interactions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Georgia or Compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years' recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and critical care skills.
• Capable of floating across multiple units, including the Emergency Department.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Comply with travel and compliance requirements, including orientation and documentation.
