Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography to join our team. This role requires independently performing routine and complex CT scans to support diagnostic procedures in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans following radiologist protocols to ensure accurate diagnostics.
• Operate Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstations to acquire and process imaging data.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, certification, and safety standards, including BLS certification.
• Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate procedures like biopsies, drainages, and vascular imaging.
• Manage patient preparation, including venipuncture and positioning, to optimize imaging outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital policies for documentation and EMR data entry, primarily using Meditech.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Hold an active ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Demonstrate a minimum of two years' experience working in an acute hospital environment.
• Show proficiency with venipuncture, MIP, MPR, 3D imaging, and invasive procedures like biopsies.
• Be able to work independently without supervision and adapt to varying shift needs.
