Job Summary:

ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST (General / Vascular / Echo) performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations across general, vascular, and echocardiography modalities in a fast-paced clinical environment. The role requires ARDMS registration in all three specialties and the ability to work independently while delivering accurate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform General, Vascular, and Echo ultrasound studies according to established protocols.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety.
• Acquire high-quality images, optimize settings, and document results for clinical review.
• Interpret basic imaging findings and communicate critical information to the care team.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment cleanliness, proper maintenance practices, and exam readiness.
• Ensure timely completion of examinations, including participation in on-call coverage as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold active ARDMS certification in General, Vascular, and Echocardiography.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience performing General, Vascular, and Echo studies.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining clinical accuracy.
• Maintain current knowledge of ultrasound techniques, anatomy, and diagnostic workflows.
• Demonstrate strong patient care skills, professionalism, and adaptability in rotating shifts.
• Meet on-call availability expectations based on required coverage needs.
