Job Summary:
The Surgical Tech is a vital member of the operating room team, responsible for supporting surgical procedures by preparing equipment and maintaining sterile environments. They work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth and efficient surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing and arranging surgical instruments and supplies.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
• Monitor and organize surgical equipment to ensure readiness for each case.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical supplies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Support post-operative cleanup and sterilization of instruments and operating rooms.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Surgical Technician certification or credential.
• Possess relevant technical training or education in surgical technology.
• Demonstrate experience in a surgical setting, preferably in hospitals or outpatient surgical centers.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Maintain current knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
• Display excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
