Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Burn Trauma Intensive Care Unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through expert clinical skills and critical thinking. This role requires a compassionate and team-oriented RN to manage complex cases in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced critical care interventions including wound management, code responses, EVDs, and MTP procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond promptly to any changes in status.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and critical care standards, including weekend and on-call commitments.
• Support team members by offering assistance and maintaining clear communication.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 1 year of ICU experience.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Possess trauma, burn, and surgical ICU experience; BSN preferred.
• Certification requirements include RN licensure and relevant ICU certifications such as CCRN.
• Able to work effectively in high-pressure situations and collaborate within a team environment.
