Job Description
Job Summary:
The job performs radiologic imaging and technical support for IR/Special Procedures, delivering safe, accurate studies while prioritizing patient-centered care. The role consistently follows safety, SOPs, and quality standards, including ALARA and patient identification requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety standards and follow ALARA and imaging safety best practices.
- Verify patient identity and maintain compliance with departmental and organization SOPs.
- Perform age-specific imaging care for patients across neonate through geriatric populations.
- Produce a variety of radiological procedures using appropriate IR/Special Procedures technical skills.
- Execute applicable equipment quality control and document quality findings accurately.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
Qualifications:
- Possess current radiologic technologist licensure and maintain continuing education requirements.
- Demonstrate proficiency in patient positioning, technical imaging skills, and procedure workflow.
- Demonstrate competence in applicable radiology equipment quality control processes.
- Maintain accurate records for requested databases/logs and documentation requirements.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and follow directions to meet state and federal compliance needs.
- Demonstrate readiness to support DNV-aligned standards and department preparedness expectations.
