Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care and supports emergency and critical-care patients by delivering evidence-based therapies and monitoring patient responses. This role requires timely credentialing compliance, readiness for fast-paced clinical environments, and strong coordination with the care team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver ventilatory support and oxygen therapy according to clinical protocols.
• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor vital signs, breath sounds, and patient response.
• Administer and manage airway therapies, including aerosol treatments and related modalities.
• Execute emergency respiratory interventions as indicated by patient condition.
• Collaborate with nursing and physicians to communicate status changes and care outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, parameters, and patient progress.

Qualifications:

• Hold active licensure/verification as required for practice.
• Possess BLS certification and maintain current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Demonstrate readiness to obtain EDAP I and II and/or ENPC within the allowed credentialing timeline.
• Provide proof of MMR and varicella vaccination or approved declination documentation.
• Complete or initiate background screening and drug screening processes as required prior to start.
• Maintain competency in emergency respiratory care and patient safety practices.
