Job Summary:

IR/Cath Lab Rad Tech provides fluoroscopy-enabled imaging support in Cath Lab/EP procedures, ensuring accurate, safe patient care. The role performs radiologic imaging tasks in accordance with departmental protocols while maintaining high-quality documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform fluoroscopy imaging and assist with IR/Cath Lab/EP procedure support as directed by the clinical team
• Prepare patients for imaging, verify orders, and ensure correct patient positioning and imaging parameters
• Maintain radiation safety practices for patients, staff, and self in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor image quality and troubleshoot routine technical issues to support timely procedures
• Document procedure-related information and ensure compliance with regulatory and departmental standards
• Maintain lab readiness by organizing equipment and supplies before and after cases

Qualifications:

• Hold an active California Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) license
• Maintain ARRT certification
• Demonstrate fluoroscopy competency as required for Cath Lab/EP environments
• Possess working knowledge of radiation protection and safe imaging practices
• Provide the ability to work full-time 40 hours per week on 5 scheduled 8-hour shifts
• Demonstrate readiness to start with an ASAP start date when required
