Job Summary:

The TRAVEL - MRI - TECH (734) provides high-quality MRI imaging by operating GE 1.5T equipment and ensuring accurate, patient-centered scan delivery. This role supports diagnostic workflow across brain, spine, orthopedic, abdominal, and cardiac imaging while maintaining safety and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans on GE 1.5T systems for brain, spine, orthopedic, body/abdomen, and cardiac protocols.
• Position patients and prepare equipment to achieve diagnostic-quality images.
• Monitor patients during examinations and respond promptly to safety or comfort concerns.
• Maintain MRI equipment performance by following established quality control and troubleshooting processes.
• Coordinate with radiology and support teams to ensure timely study completion and accurate documentation.
• Adhere to MRI safety screening procedures and standard infection prevention practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold active MR Registered credentials.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Possess a valid VA license in hand at submission.
• Demonstrate hands-on experience working on GE MRI equipment.
• Prioritize experience with cardiac scans/protocols.
• Bring at least 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
