Job Summary:

PCU Nights Registered Nurse provides high-acuity stepdown care for patients requiring close monitoring and time-sensitive intervention. The role supports cardiovascular-focused clinical needs while delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care across night shift operations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient status and vital signs to identify changes requiring escalation.
• Administer prescribed medications and evaluate patient response to treatments.
• Perform and document nursing assessments, including neurological and cardiovascular checks.
• Manage care for patients with complex monitoring needs using PCU/IMC protocols.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to support timely clinical decisions.
• Complete required onboarding orientation and training modules per facility process.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and be eligible for NM/Compact acceptance as required.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Maintain ACLS certification.
• Demonstrate NIH certification or equivalent readiness as required.
• Prefer CPI certification.
• Bring cardiovascular experience aligned with IMC/PCU/Stepdown patient populations.
