Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical/Tele) provides direct bedside care for telemetry patients in an acute care setting. The role monitors rhythm and vital sign trends, supports dysrhythmia recognition, and coordinates care with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias to support timely clinical interventions.
• Assess vital signs, perfusion, and patient status, escalating concerns promptly.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and patient-specific plans.
• Provide bedside patient education and support, including symptom management and discharge readiness.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain safe, efficient care delivery across unit workflow.
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active SC RN license or a valid Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification (NIHSS required).
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience with MS/Telemetry and telemetry monitoring.
• Apply strong skills in telemetry interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition.
• Communicate effectively and prioritize patient safety in a fast-paced acute care environment.
