Job Summary:

The Cat Scan/CT Tech provides high-quality CT imaging for adult patients, supporting diagnostic accuracy and patient safety in an acute care setting. The role performs CT procedures efficiently, maintains imaging quality, and collaborates with the clinical team to deliver timely care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging procedures for adult patients and assist with select pediatric imaging as needed.
• Prepare patients for CT exams, ensuring comfort, safety, and appropriate screening.
• Operate CT systems and related imaging equipment while maintaining consistent image quality.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and implement patient safety standards throughout each exam.
• Document exam information and maintain accurate workflow for imaging orders and results processing.
• Support trauma imaging needs in hospital/acute care environments.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification (CT or relevant modality) and maintain active status.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Complete at least 1 year of strong trauma experience in hospital/acute care settings.
• Meet NJDEP requirements prior to start date.
• Demonstrate preferred experience with Siemens CT systems and imaging workflows.
• Possess readiness to work every other weekend and night shift (4x10 hours).
