Job Summary:
Provide skilled occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care hospital setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance patient recovery and functional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities to determine their needs for therapy.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient goals.
• Administer therapeutic interventions such as OT evaluations and treatments using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Document patient progress and update care plans in accordance with hospital policies and EMR systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, confidentiality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold current active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Kansas.
• Possess a minimum of 6 months of acute care hospital OT experience.
• Be certified in BLS.
• Have trauma and comprehensive stroke care experience preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication, independence, and accountability in clinical practice.
