Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients, including those in critical care settings. Ensure safe and effective delivery of respiratory therapy procedures while maintaining compliance with certifications and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments, including nebulizers, inhalers, and oxygen therapy, to diverse patient populations.
• Manage ventilator equipment, including BiPAP, CPAP, and weaning protocols for mechanical ventilation.
• Perform airway management procedures such as intubation support, suctioning, and extubation.
• Respond promptly to rapid response calls and emergency codes, providing CPR when necessary.
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and analyze specimens to assess patient respiratory status.
• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care respiratory therapy experience.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Be comfortable with basic pediatric respiratory care and high-risk patient procedures.
• Demonstrate proficiency with respiratory equipment such as Servo I, Avea, and Bella Vista.
• Show ability to work in adult ICU, emergency department, and pediatric units, with readiness to float within hospital departments.
