Job Summary:
Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, monitoring and managing their clinical needs with a focus on neuro and trauma care. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments, including IV infusions, chest tubes, and neuro assessments.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and responses to treatments, reporting changes promptly.
• Document patient progress and procedures accurately in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of recent experience in PCU, Stepdown, or Neuro/Trauma care.
• Hold valid ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with IV pumps, PCA pumps, chest tubes, and other critical care equipment.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize effectively.
