Job Summary:
Provide specialized occupational therapy services to patients with various upper extremity conditions in an outpatient setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patient function and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients to determine injury severity and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
• Fabricate and apply splints for post-operative, acute, and chronic orthopedic upper extremity conditions.
• Administer therapeutic interventions for a diverse patient population, including pre-teens to geriatrics.
• Document patient progress accurately using electronic health records such as Epic.
• Adhere to safety and compliance standards, including maintaining valid certifications and licenses.
• Coordinate with referring providers and ensure timely completion of all required documentation.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of five (5) years of outpatient hand therapy experience.
• Hold a valid state license to practice occupational therapy.
• Be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS); CA license preferred.
• Experience with splint fabrication and orthopedic diagnoses required.
• Ability to work day shifts (5x8 hours) from 11:00 to 19:30.
• Demonstrate strong communication and documentation skills, with Epic experience preferred.
