Job Summary:

Experienced inpatient acute rehabilitation occupational therapist with neuro specialization needed to provide care for complex neurological and orthopaedic patients. Responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to optimize patient recovery and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' functional abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for patients with CVA, brain injury, SCI, cancer rehab, and complex ortho conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Comply with facility and licensing requirements, including certifications and credentials.
• Participate in orientation modules and complete required compliance documentation timely.

Qualifications:

• Valid California occupational therapy license with Nursys verification.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in inpatient acute rehabilitation settings.
• Current BLS certification issued by AHA or ARC.
• Demonstrated neuro rehab expertise and experience with complex patient populations.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday with 7:00 am to 4:00 pm shifts.
• Flexibility to work two full weekends per month as required.
