Job Summary:
The CVOR TECH role involves providing specialized support for cardiovascular operating rooms, including scrub and circulate responsibilities. The position requires hands-on assistance during vascular and heart surgeries, ensuring smooth procedural flow and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room with necessary surgical tools and equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
• Assist surgical teams by maintaining sterile fields and passing instruments during surgeries.
• Circulate within the OR to monitor equipment, supplies, and patient safety standards.
• Support the surgical team in vascular and heart surgeries, including on-call coverage as needed.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards throughout all procedures.
• Complete all required documentation and assist with post-operative cleaning and setup.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CVOR Tech certification or relevant surgical technologist credential.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent experience in cardiovascular surgical settings.
• Possess BLS and NBSTSA certification.
• Be able to scrub and circulate effectively in high-pressure surgical environments.
• Have a strong understanding of cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Be willing to work day shifts (4x10 hours) and participate in on-call duties.
