Job Summary:

Seeking a Vascular OR RN with experience in complex vascular procedures to join a Level I Trauma Center. The role involves scrubbing and circulating during endovascular and surgical vascular cases, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate during complex vascular procedures such as TEVAR, EVAR, AAA repairs, thrombectomies, and carotid surgeries.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are properly managed.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and condition throughout procedures, providing immediate response to any changes.
• Document clinical activities accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with preoperative patient assessments and post-operative care as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina or multi-state RN license, in hand at start of contract.
• Minimum of 2 years of vascular OR nursing experience.
• Ability to scrub and circulate complex vascular cases.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA.
• Radiation badge (to be provided by agency) and compliance with local radius rules.
• Strong understanding of vascular surgical procedures and instrumentation.
