Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse with proven Cerner EHR system expertise to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong clinical skills, adherence to compliance standards, and flexibility to float within various hospital units.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and deliver culturally competent nursing care to emergency patients.
• Utilize Cerner electronic health record system to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, demonstrating proficiency in managing lethal rhythms on EKG.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications and complete required CEUs and modules prior to start.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Missouri RN license or Compact license at the time of submission.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience, including experience with Cerner charting.
• Hold current American Heart Association ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EKG interpretation, passing a lethal rhythms exam with at least 80%.
• Be able to pass a background check and drug screening as per client policies.
• Capable of working 3x12-hour shifts on a bi-weekly schedule, including every other weekend.
