Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a step-down, surgical, or telemetry setting. Monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and record observations accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient responses to therapies and report any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress.
• Educate patients and families on treatment processes and self-care protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Prior experience in oncology, step-down, surgical, or telemetry units preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications relevant to oncology care are a plus.
