Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive clinical and administrative support in a healthcare setting. Responsible for performing patient care tasks, clerical duties, and ensuring smooth clinic operations to enhance patient experience and maintain compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient care activities including venipuncture, EKGs, vital signs, and specimen collection.
• Assist physicians with procedures, prepare exam rooms, and ensure proper sterilization techniques are followed.
• Manage electronic medical records (EMR), including chart filing, order entry, and updating patient information.
• Schedule surgeries, procedures, and patient appointments, verifying insurance and pre-certifications as necessary.
• Restock medical supplies, monitor expiration dates, and maintain inventory in compliance with policies.
• Enforce safety protocols, infection control procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Medical Assistant certification from an approved program.
• Possess BLS certification issued by the AHA.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with diverse patient populations.
• Be proficient in medical terminology, EMR systems, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and assist with clinical procedures.
• High School Diploma or GED required, with relevant certification completion.
