Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room, supporting surgical teams during various procedures. Ensure patient safety, assist with anesthesia, and maintain sterile environments to facilitate optimal surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to prepare for cases and maintain efficient workflow.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond quickly to any changes during procedures.
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and maintain sterile equipment.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in compliance with facility standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Demonstrate strong proficiency in robotics, orthopedic, and neuro surgeries.
• Possess current ACLS, BLS certifications at the time of submittal, and NIHSS certification prior to start.
• Be Nicotine-free with a negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months.
• Complete required modules and assessments during orientation, including EKG and pharmacy tests with no remediation.
