Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to adult patients in a Medical Surgical unit, ensuring optimal recovery and health outcomes. Acts as a vital member of the healthcare team, delivering direct patient care and monitoring patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately.
• Monitor patient vital signs and observe for changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
• Document patient care activities and progress in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical or Acute Neuro unit.
• Hold an active AHA BLS certification.
• Have current NIHSS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Hold a valid RN license.
