Job Summary:
Providing specialized nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through comprehensive assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications and therapies to patients in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition, escalating concerns to the healthcare team as necessary.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and revise care plans.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Require BLS and ACLS certification; PALS preferred or as required for extended contracts.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Possess strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail.
• Capable of working efficiently in shift hours from 0500 to 1730, with weekend rotation.
