Job Summary:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality emergency services. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing patient care procedures aligned with hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing care to patients with diverse acute conditions, including trauma, medical, and psychiatric cases.
• Triage incoming patients, establish priorities, and document clinical findings accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and paramedics to develop and execute patient treatment plans.
• Monitor patient status via telemetry and other clinical devices, adjusting care as needed.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, certifications, and hospital policies.
• Document all patient interactions and clinical procedures accurately within the EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Indiana Registered Nurse license with current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of urgent or emergency nursing experience.
• Possess a strong understanding of emergency procedures and trauma protocols.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with excellent critical thinking skills.
• Proof of unexpired driver’s license and compliance with 50-mile submission rule required.
