Job Summary:
Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room setting, ensuring patient safety and efficient triage. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive treatment for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival to prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor patient status, interpret readings such as EKG strips, and respond swiftly to changes.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR system and communicate effectively with team members.
• Assist with procedures including ABGs and other ER-specific clinical tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile environment to meet hospital standards.

Qualifications:

• Current state-specific Registered Nurse (RN) license with valid, unexpired driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an emergency or acute care setting preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP.
• proficiency in using EMR systems, preferably EPIC.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
