Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced RN with orthopedic specialization to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have recent travel experience and charge RN expertise, supporting adult to geriatric patients including orthopedic, total joint, and fracture repair cases.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans for orthopedic and medical-surgical patients.
• Perform telemetric monitoring and respond promptly to patient needs.
• Lead and coordinate patient care as Charge RN, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with physical therapy teams to facilitate patient recovery within the unit.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to compliance and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in hand with current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, including recent travel assignments.
• Prior Charge RN experience required.
• Proven ability to work 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with every other weekend commitment.
• Strong understanding of telemetry, orthopedic, and medical-surgical care.
• Must pass Pass/Fail EKG exam prior to start.
