Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical/Tele arrives to provide comprehensive inpatient care within a Level III Trauma acute care hospital. This RN will deliver high-quality patient management during night shifts, ensuring safety and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions, documenting progress in the electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Respond to emergencies and stabilize patients as required during night shifts.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Must possess an active South Carolina or Compact RN license prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical/Tele experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; NIH certification preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in telemedicine and previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Ability to float within scope to meet unit and facility needs.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
