Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit at a large academic hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, EPIC EMR experience, and be available for night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and trauma patients.
• Utilize EPIC system efficiently to document patient care and communicate with healthcare team.
• Adhere to hospital policies, dress code, and scrub color requirements.
• Perform competency assessments within 24 hours of assignment, if applicable.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of applicable experience.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a 600+ bed academic hospital.
• EPIC EMR experience is required.
• Ability to pass competency testing or demonstrate sufficient clinical proficiency within 24 hours if applicable.
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
