Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit, with a focus on neuro patients. Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality care aligned with established standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions, ensuring timely identification of needs and concerns.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient interactions and clinical data precisely in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and families on care procedures, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license with current registration.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical Surgical or Neuro unit.
• Hold current AHA BLS certification; AHA ACLS preferred.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be able to work scheduled hours from 7 pm to 7 am, including varying shifts.
