Job Summary:
Provides clinical and administrative support in a surgical office setting, ensuring efficient patient care and smooth clinic operations. Must be bilingual in Korean and possess relevant clinical experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient intake, data entry, and documentation using EPIC systems.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist providers during surgical appointments.
• Manage patient flow, schedule appointments, and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure charting accuracy.
• Facilitate communication between patients and providers, translating as needed.
• Adhere to infection control, safety procedures, and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program.
• Bilingual in Korean is required.
• One or more years of Medical Assistant experience preferred, especially in surgical settings.
• Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA-CMA or AMT-RMA) or related credential preferred.
• BLS certification required, and EPIC experience preferred.
• Valid NY license; pending licenses or certifications are not acceptable.
