Job Summary:
The OR Manager oversees daily operations within the operating room, ensuring patient safety and compliance with clinical standards. They coordinate surgical schedules, manage staff, and facilitate communication among interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional perioperative care.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise OR nursing staff to maintain high-quality clinical practice.
• Coordinate and prioritize surgical schedules to optimize efficiency.
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing mentorship and developmental feedback.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory adherence for all perioperative activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess a minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience, with at least one year in a leadership role.
• Have at least two years of experience in acute care nursing within a hospital setting.
• Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) by an approved vendor.
• Preferably hold a Master’s Degree and national certification in nursing administration or perioperative specialty.
