Job Summary:

Experienced Dental Hygienists are needed to perform routine prophylaxis, patient education, and assist with clinical procedures in a busy dental practice. The role involves providing comprehensive oral health care and supporting patient wellness initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental prophylaxis, removing hard and soft deposits from teeth surfaces.
• Apply topical fluoride treatments and document findings accurately.
• Expose, develop, and interpret radiographs to assist in diagnosis.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and nutritional impacts on dental health.
• Review patient medical and dental histories and chart findings using Epic Wisdom.
• Manage appointment scheduling and treatment planning efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Hold an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene and valid SC licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
• No prior experience required; one year of experience preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in radiography, fluoride application, and patient education.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing and infection control standards.
