Job Summary:

Seeking a experienced Radiation Therapist to deliver high-quality radiation treatments to patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills and adherence to safety protocols while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatment plans as prescribed by physicians, ensuring precise delivery and patient safety.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment in accordance with protocols and safety standards.
• Monitor patient responses during treatments and document relevant clinical information accurately.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures to minimize risks during treatment processes.
• Educate patients about procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort throughout treatment.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid licensure and certification as a Radiation Therapist.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent experience in radiation therapy.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR and radiation treatment technology.
• Show excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain current knowledge of radiation safety protocols and best practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours and float to various units as needed.
