Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a reputable healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care to cardiac surgery patients, ensuring high standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preoperative assessments and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Circulate and monitor patients during open heart and other complex cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Respond quickly to intraoperative emergencies and provide immediate intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient care activities.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid CVOR certification and current RN licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience, with substantial experience in cardiovascular and open heart surgeries.
• Prior travel experience preferred with demonstrated flexibility.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR system within the past 2 years.
• Comfortable floating to various OR suites including General, Ortho, Neuro, ENT as needed.
• BLS certification is required; CNOR preferred.
