Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a Cardiovascular Progressive Care unit. The RN will provide specialized care to post-surgical cardiac and vascular patients, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor patients with complex cardiovascular and vascular conditions, including post-operative cardiac surgery, TAVR, AAA repair, and thoracic surgeries.
• Administer and titrate cardiac medications such as phenylephrine, dobutamine, milrinone, and others, adhering to protocols.
• Perform clinical procedures including epidural and chest tube management, tube feedings, and IV pump regulation.
• Document patient care accurately within the Cerner EMR system and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, ensuring safety and comfort during fast-paced shifts.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Prior stepdown, telemetry, or CV surgery/vascular surgery experience within the past year.
• ACLS and BLS certifications current and active.
• Ability to manage multiple critical procedures including epidural, chest tubes, and cardiac GTT management.
• Proven ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced environments with flexible teamwork skills.
